Workshop "3 ABORDAGENS ESPACIAIS"
Pretende-se estimular uma investigação sobre este eixo (Av. da República) enquanto elemento contínuo e estruturante a partir das diferentes camadas, segmentações e apropriações presentes ao longo desta parte da cidade, a provocar confrontos de âmbitos educativo, artístico e espacial, sugerindo intervenções em diferentes níveis de temporalidade que as propostas deverão integrar.
Abordagem #03 – Espacialidade (Dez/2020)
Pretende-se expandir a pesquisa sobre o espaço público explorando o olhar sobre os processos da sua própria produção e transformação, a contribuir para o alargamento do entendimento dos “espaços” que coexistem no espaço público. A espacialidade enquanto “prática espacial”, distinguindo assim as “representações do espaço público” e os “espaços públicos de representação”. O projecto no espaço público é indiscernível da temporalidade, das micro-práticas do espaço no quotidiano bem como das realidades sociais, técnicas, económicas implicadas no esforço da sua materialização.

Workshop "3 SPATIAL APPROACHES"
It is intended to stimulate an investigation on this axis (Av. da República) as a continuous and structuring element from the different layers, segmentations and appropriations present throughout this part of the city, to provoke confrontations in educational, artistic and spatial areas, suggesting interventions at different levels of temporality that the proposals must integrate.
Approach #03 – Spatiality (Dez/2020)
It is intended to expand the research on public space, exploring the look at the processes of its own production and transformation, to contribute to the broadening of the understanding of the “spaces” that coexist in the public space. The spatiality as a “spatial practice”, thus distinguishing the “representations of public space” and the “public spaces of representation”. The project in public space is indistinguishable from temporality, from the micro-practices of space in everyday life as well as from the social, technical, economic realities involved in the effort to materialize it.

Enfim, o que faltava à avenida era o rio e lidar com alguns monstros. No lugar do El Corte Inglés, agora há o Jardim do Vivo, lá toda gente pode ter bons momentos. Imagino, após experienciar um bom dia no JARDIM DO VIVO, assistir a um belo pôr-do-sol no primeiro e mais antigo JARDIM, onde MORRO, pois tenho que deixar-te, RIBEIRA DA REPÚBLICA. Que sorte têm os que por lá trabalham e vivem.

Anyway, what the avenue lacked was the river and dealing with some monsters. Instead of El Corte Inglés, there is now Jardim do Vivo, where everyone can have a good time. I imagine, after experiencing a good day at JARDIM DO VIVO (Living Garden), watching a beautiful sunset in the first and oldest JARDIM, where I DIE, because I have to leave you, RIBEIRA DA REPÚBLICA. How lucky are those who work and live there.
